Hakai: Hakai is there common name, but they are actually called Hachuu Youkai, or reptile demons. They have the traits of most reptiles, but are very large. A newborn Hakai could be as large as a full grown adult Human. The older Hakai can be up to 40 feet high. The bodies of the Hakai are gorilla-like in posture, usually walking on their front arms, which can be longer than their heighth. They have 2 pairs of arms instead of just one, but the second pair is only about half as long. Every Hakai is born with at least one horn, the larger the horn, the higher in rank and more powerful the Hakai usually is. They are rarely born with wings, and the Hakai believe if one is born with wings, it is a sign of light, and the winged hakai is usually killed or banished. The Hakai are all based on the dark element, and have a secondary element based on where they live. The Hakai are also very intelligent, and able to use magic. They also have a very long life-span. (1,000 yr)
Hakai-Lamia: Where the Lamia are half human and half snake, the Hakai-Lamia are half Hakai and half snake. They have lost their legs and their lower bodies are much stronger than a normal Hakai's. Their life-span is slightly shorter than a Hakai's. (900 yr)
Hakai-Mantid: The Hakai-Mantids are insect-like Hakai. Instead of the normal ears, they have antennae, and they're bodies, like insects, have a chitin exoskeleton. The chitin on these species is commonly called Youkai Chitin. It is very tough and hard to break except when the Hakai-Mantid is molting. Because of this, these species of Hakai were hunted, and their chitin collected for the creation of weapons. The Hakai-Mantid are now on the brink of extinction, and usually live in secluded areas, away from any other living creature. (1,100 yr)
Hakai-Tourou Lamia: Like Hakai-Lamia, this species of Hakai is like a Tourou Lamia, with a Hakai's body instead of a Human's. Their front arms have been modified into praying mantis-like arms, and their back ones have stayed the same, to help hold onto objects. (1,000 yr)
