------------------Before the Storyline (Before the RP)-------------------
It is the year 9020 (This is a different dimension than Earth's. And the technology is less advanced, at the moment, about medieval tech.) and small civil wars have been breaking out on the Pangea, Sunzenshakuma. These wars are not like the ones of the Earth that we know; they are far more dangerous. Hakai, reptilian monsters, or demons if you want to call them that, are very evil creatures. Very rarely are good-hearted ones born. Humans, which we know very much about, can be good or evil-hearted, and are well-rounded with magic and weapons. The Lamia; a race of half-snake half-human beings. They excell in magic and usually live near water. Ootokage; almost the exact opposite of Hakai. Then, the Mantids; which are insect-like creatures with Human-like postures. (Bipedal, etc.) They range from beetles and butterflies to ticks and scorpions.
These wars are going on between good and evil, Hakai and Human. The other races have joined in as well, to help the side they are on. These wars have been called the Splitting Wars, for the reason that they not only split the races between each other, but the destructive force of these small battles have actually broken the pangea into seven different continents. The battles continued for hundreds of years, and even now, they still continue; although they are less destructive.
After the initial wars, (The Splitting Wars) the Hakai fled to four of the seven continents. Each of the continents were named Yami, and each surrounded the other three. The three others were named Sora, Umi, and Kansouchi. Sora was split between the Humans and the Mantids that had helped in the wars. Umi was given to the Lamia, although some Humans went to Umi as well. Kansouchi was given to the Ootokage, and some Mantids.
------------------The Great War-------------------
The year, 10110, and there is still little peace between Hakai and Human. A group of Humans, known as the Akutenshi had temporarely taken control of Sora, and created a new continent, Kogane Mushi. They were overthrown during a revolt of the people of Sora, and the group broke up immediately after. All of the Mantids moved to the beetle-shaped Kogane Mushi, both good and evil. The Humans and Hakai still battle vigorously, but the Hakai seem to have become more organized and strategic with their new leader. They have created a system in which four rulers of each continent, the Hakaisha, act directly under the leader. Soldiers act under the Hakaisha. They have also rediscovered an ancient dark magic, which resurrects the masters of the elements; the Ayatsuri.
10119: A war has broken out between the Humans and Hakai again, but more destructive than any past battles. This war, named the Great War, lasts only one year, but almost destroys not only Sunzenshakuma, but a new world called Nakaguri Eiji. Nakaguri Eiji is inhabited by only Humans, and none have magical abilities. It was discovered when the Hakai's leader discovered magic to open dimensional portals. He ordered his army to dispose of this new world, but was stopped by the Humans. The Humans of Sunzenshakuma fought against the Hakai in both worlds. The war finally ended once a Human from Nakaguri Eiji used an unknown type of magic; now known as the In'you, a power that uses an unknown power to manipulate atoms and elements into other ones. That Human helped the ones from Sunzenshakuma to drive the Hakai out of his world. He succeeded, and built a shrine around the portal, in case he needed to help once more.
------------------Current Storyline-------------------
It has been 80 years since the Great War; which has been totaly forgotten by those of Nakaguri Eiji. The Hakai have practically total control over the world of Sunzenshakuma. They have been slowly training and recruiting members for a new army. Three of the four past Hakaisha still live, while a new Earth Hakaisha has gained control. Meanwhile, the humans and other races on the good and neutral side have been living their lives as best they can, while in fear of the Hakaisha taking over.
